Most of our escorted trips outside mainland Europe we have designated group flights, and we will advise you of this on booking.
Group transfers for Escorted trips
For every trip there will be a set meeting time at the destination airport for the transfer to the first hotel. There will also be a set time for the return transfer to the airport at the end of the trip.
Following feedback from clients in 2006, we have been asked to specify a ‘recommended flight’ to connect with the airport transfers. Booking the ‘recommended flight’ with ATG guarantees transfers to and from the airport, irrespective of flight schedule changes or delays.

Early arrivals:
If you are taking an early flight you may have to wait for the arrival of the ATG staff and minibuses for the transfer to the first hotel.
Late arrivals:
If you are taking a later flight, which arrives after the transfer time to the first hotel you will have to make your own way to the first hotel.
Return transfer to the airport:
If you have a very early flight and need to be at the airport before the transfer arrival time you will have to make your own way to the airport.
For those making alternative travel arrangements
If you plan to meet the group at the first hotel, please indicate this on the booking form or advise us on booking.
If you are arranging your own flight and would like a place on the airport transfer, please inform us of your full travel details including date, time, airline and flight number, when known. Please allow an hour to collect your luggage and pass through customs at the destination airport.
Independent trips:
We provide information on public transport options from the airport to the first hotel but if you would like us to book a taxi please let us know and supply us with your flight details.
